Timing that keeps the whole race day together

Registration, start lists, timing, live tracking and results in one system. We handle timing on site or give your team the tools to run it yourselves.

Two ways to work with 46timing

We time the race on site

You run the event. We set up the system, handle timing on site, and publish live tracking and results.

Your team runs the timing

You get the system and apps, build the race, and record times with your own officials. Start lists, live tracking and results are included.

Personal data, handled properly

You are responsible for your participants' personal data. Most timing systems leave you to work out what that means on your own. These are the specifics, so you can check them rather than take our word for it.

  • The split is written down

You are the controller for participant data in your race. We process it for you, and the privacy policy says exactly that in plain language, including which parts we are responsible for ourselves.

  • Participants are told before they enter

Where a race is filmed or broadcast, the notice appears on the race page and on the registration form — not on a sign at the gate that people walk past after they have already committed.

  • Images are deleted on a date you set

Camera images are deleted automatically 30 days after the results are published, or sooner if you shorten it. If an entrant disputes their result, the images are kept until you have settled it. The date is visible in the admin, and the deletion happens without anyone remembering to do it.

  • Nothing loads until a visitor asks

An embedded video contacts YouTube or Vimeo only when somebody presses play. A spectator who reads your results page is not handed to a third party for doing so.

You also get the participant notice and the gate signage written for you, in Swedish, English and Polish, built from your race's own settings — the document you are expected to have and, in practice, the one nobody has time to write.

For different sports and race formats

Sports

  • OCR and obstacle racing

    Obstacles, penalties, splits and placing.

  • HYROX and fitness racing

Zones, stations, run segments and splits.

Mass starts, start intervals, checkpoints and finish times.

Race formats

Qualifiers, finals or several races grouped under one competition.

One flow from registration to results

Build the race once. The same participant data then moves through start lists, timing, live tracking and results.

See public races

  1. Before the race

Participants register without an account. You create classes, start groups and entry fees in the same system.

  2. During the race

Officials record times on a phone. Spectators follow the race live, while your team controls finish and results screens from the race.

  3. After the finish

Times, places and statuses appear on shareable results pages. Splits, teams and photo finish are available when the format calls for them.

From first contact to first race

A few lines are enough. We normally reply within two working days and confirm what the race needs.

  1. You tell us about the race and whether you want on-site help or prefer to run the timing yourselves.

  2. We confirm the date, race format and approximate number of participants.

  3. We set up the first race together and make sure your team can get started.
